Kuwait Re launches operations in GIFT City

Kuwait Re officially commenced operations in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City) on 1 April 2026. This expansion builds on the reinsurer’s more than 40-year presence in the Indian insurance market and is expected to further strengthen its relationships with Indian partners.

Founded in 1972, Kuwait Re is a reinsurance company headquartered in Kuwait, with an additional office in Malaysia.
