Launch of unemployment insurance

Unemployment insurance is compulsory and intended exclusively for people who already have a job.

This insurance has been established in order to cover for a maximum period of one year, any employee who would loses his job. Compensation is capped at 2 400 USD for the first three months and 1 870 USD for the rest of the year.
