Los Angeles fires: celebrities who lost their homes

 stars fire Los AngelesThe fires that have been ravaging Los Angeles and the surrounding area have forced more than 100 000 residents to evacuate their homes. The flames, fanned by strong winds, have already engulfed almost 9 000 buildings and houses, reducing the homes of many celebrities to ashes.

The Pacific Palisades neighborhood, known as a celebrity haven, was hit particularly hard.

  • Patrick Bruel: an emblematic figure of the French chanson scene. Known for his hits “Casser la voix” and “Place des grands hommes”.
  • Adam Brody and Leighton Meester: unforgettable actors from the TV series “Gilmore Girls” and “Gossip Girl”.
  • Anna Faris: actress, known for her roles in comedy movies such as “Scary Movie” and “The House Bunny”.
  • Paris Hilton: model, actress and media personality.
  • Miles Teller: actor, known for his roles in movies like “Whiplash” and “Top Gun: Maverick”.
  • Eugene Levy: actor who starred in the “American Pie” films and the “Schitt's Creek” TV series.
  • Anthony Hopkins: Oscar-winning actor, best known for his iconic role as Hannibal Lecter in the movie “Silence of the Lambs”.
  • Cobie Smulders: actress, popular for her role as Robin Scherbatsky in the series “How I Met Your Mother”.
  • James Woods: actor, a key figure in American cinema, with roles in films such as “Once Upon a Time in America”, “Casino” and “Vampires”.
  • Billy Crystal: actor and comedian, known for movies like “When Harry Met Sally” and “Analyze This”.
  • John Goodman: actor, famous for his roles in “The Big Lebowski” and the “Roseanne” series.
  • Martin Scorsese: director best known for films such as “Taxi Driver”, “Goodfellas” and “The Wolf of Wall Street”.

Other Hollywood stars, such as Mandy Moore (actress known for her role in the series “This is Us”), Mark Hamill (actor known for his role as Luke Skywalker in the “Star Wars” saga) and Jamie Lee Curtis (actress known for her roles in the “Halloween” horror films), had to be evacuated, but their homes were spared.

A number of other celebrities, including actor Ben Affleck, singers Cher and Fergie, journalist Maria Shriver, influencer Madeleine White and pianist Sofiane Pamart, were also forced to leave their homes.

The flames also destroyed Matthew Perry's former 8.55 million USD home.
