Moulay Hafid Elalamy has entered the government

Moulay Hafid Elalamy graduated from the University of Sherbrooke in Canada where he began his career as an insurer. He then returned to Morocco, where he joined the Compagnie Africaine d’Assurance before managing for a short period AGMA, the first direct insurance brokerage firm. He founded the Saham Group in 1997 which has been active in insurance, offshoring, drugstore and real estate business. He was also chairman of Morocco’s corporate confederation from 2006 to 2009.
