Munich Re has not managed to raise its tariffs as expected

The world's reinsurance leader has not managed to raise its tariffs by 3% to 5% as it had previously hoped at the start of the renewal campaign. The increase actually did not exceed 2.6%. The total premiums underwritten January 1^st, 2009 is dwindling down by 3% in comparison with the same period of 2008.
