Munich Re releases preliminary results at end-June 2026

Munich Re reported a preliminary net profit of 2.2 billion EUR (2.5 billion USD) for the second quarter of 2026, surpassing analysts’ expectations of 1.786 billion EUR (2 billion USD).

The German reinsurer generated a preliminary net result of 3.9 billion EUR (4.4 billion USD) in the first half of 2026, positioning the company to achieve its full-year net profit target of 6.3 billion EUR (7.2 billion USD).

Munich Re will publish its final results for the first half of 2026 on 7 August 2026.
