Netsanet Lemesa, new CEO of Ethiopian Re

Netsanet Lemesa has been appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ethiopian Reinsurance (Ethiopian-Re).

Fikru Tsegaye Wordofa, Executive Officer, Strategy and Development of Ethiopian-Re, had been acting CEO.

N. Lemesa boasts over 23 years' professional experience, during which time he served in various executive positions, including that of CEO of Ethiopian Insurance Corporation (EIC), a shareholder of Ethiopian-Re.

The new CEO's qualifications include a degree in accounting from Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia).
