Poneso Ndonje appointed Managing Director of Continental Reinsurance

Poneso Ndonje has been appointed new Managing Director of Continental Reinsurance Botswana, a subsidiary of Continental Re Holdings. She succeeds Francis Nzwili, with the appointment taking effect on 1 September 2026.

Ndonje brings more than 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, including over ten years with Continental Re.

The new Managing Director is a graduate of, among other institutions, the Botswana College of Accountancy, the South African Institute of Insurance, and the University of Salford in the United Kingdom.
