Job: Senior Finance Manager

Country: Ras Al Khalmah, UAE

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) project from inception to audit opinion issuance. Identify the major processes, assessing controls, identifying risks and What Could go Wrongs with each significant class of transaction. Collaboration with HoDs to understand and assess controls in their departments.
• Establishing internal controls in line with Company guidelines to ensure accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Ensuring full compliance with international financial standards or as prescribed by the Company's auditors.
• Ensuring ongoing compliance with local and international regulations as required for a publicly quoted company.
• Budget and expense control management.
• Forecasting and strategic financial modeling.
• Managing finance projects.

Education, Experience and Professional Qualifications:

• CA, ACCA or equivalent qualifications or Masters in Accounting/Finance.
• Minimum 5 - 10 years in a similar role, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Experience of a major finance implementation process/project
• Project management experience
• Big 4 experience, preferable
• Multi tasks - be able to work on different projects simultaneously.
