Record profit for Tawuniya in 2014

Having sustained losses in 2013, Tawuniya, the largest insurer in the kingdom, reported a profit of 602 million SAR (160 million USD) in 2014.

Gross premiums were up by 11% attaining 6.2 billion SAR (1.6 billion USD) compared to 5.6 billion SAR (1.5 billion USD) posted in 2013.

Thanks to a series of internal measures, operational and financial results rose sharply during the past year.
Incurred losses fell from 4.88 billion SAR (1.3 billion USD) in 2013 to 3.76 billion SAR (1 billion USD) in 2014.
