Road crashes: accident reports processed by computer

The Jordanian Insurance Federation and the department of public safety have jointly launched the computer processing system for accident reports. The mechanism will be initially introduced in the capital Amman and extended, six months later, to the rest of the country. The new procedure will save time and minimize fraudulent claims whose percentage can range from 25% to 35%. Pictures taken by the police, the location and details of the accident will be stored in electronic files.
