Saham Group has officially announced the reorganization of its insurance and assistance brands.
- SAHAM Insurance becomes the new name for all of the Group's insurance subsidiaries in Africa (CNIA Saada, Colina and Mercantile Group Insurance).
- SAHAM Assistance becomes the new name of Isaaf Assistance.
The group unifies all its insurance and assistance brands under a common root: SAHAM.
As a reminder, Mercantile Insurance (Kenya) was acquired in 2013, launch year of the reinsurance company Saham Re. Saham has collected in 2013 a total gross premiums up by 10.3% to 431 million USD and achieved a net profit of 34.3 million USD (+9%).
