SALAMA appoints Chairman and Vice Chairman

Humaid Mohammad Obaid Alqutami has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Islamic Arab Insurance Company (SALAMA), succeeding Essa Ali Bin Salem Alzaabi.

Throughout his career, Alqutami has held several senior leadership positions, including Minister of Health and Chairman of the Commercial Bank of Dubai.

Fareed Lutfi has been elected Vice-Chairman of Salama. He brings more than 30 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sector, having held leadership roles at several Emirati organizations, including the Dubai Insurance Group, the Emirates Insurance Federation, and the Gulf Insurance Federation.
