Sanlam Maroc: health insurance for dependent people

Sanlam Maroc has launched a health insurance policy for people in need of care.

The solution provides policyholders with lifelong coverage for expenses related to home care (medical equipment, consumables, caregivers, or nurses).

In Morocco, the proportion of people aged over 60 rose from 9% in 2014 to 13% in 2023, and is expected to reach 23% by 2050. The ageing of the population could be followed by disabling illnesses or accidents, leading to a temporary or permanent reduction in mobility.
