Sébastien Sanchez, new General Manager of Maghrebia

Sébastien Sanchez has been appointed General Manager of Assurances Maghrebia and Maghrebia Vie. He succeeds Habib Ben Hassine, who is retiring after 37 years with the Tunisian group. The appointment took effect on 31 May 2024.

S. Sanchez holds a Master's degree in Marketing from HEC Paris, and has over 20 years' experience in the banking and insurance sectors.

He embarked on his professional career in 2003 with BNP Paribas, where he held several management positions within the French bank and its insurance subsidiary BNP Paribas Cardif.

In 2019, he joined Cardif El Djazair (Algeria) as Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. In May 2023, S. Sanchez joined the Maghrebia Group to ensure an effective transition before the departure of H. Ben Hassine.
