Strong growth of insurance in 2009

The 2009 market results were published last December. The turnover of the private sector reached 646 million USD for life business. The annual growth rate of life insurance is of 28% while that of non-life is of 10% at 172.6 million USD.
The assets of life companies amount to 1.66 billion USD (+29%).Those of private non-life companies jumped by 44% at 45.9 billion USD. New laws already enacted but not yet implemented, are likely to increase the market's future performances.
