Swiss Re: Velina Peneva, new Chief Investment Officer

Velina Peneva has been promoted Chief Investment Officer of Swiss Re. She is replacing Guido Fürer who is retiring after 25 years with the group. The appointment will be effective as of 1 April 2023.

V. Peneva joined Swiss Re in 2017 where in five years of activity she assumed the positions of Head of Private Equity and Co-Head of Client Solutions and Analytics.

V. Peneva is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Wellesley College (USA).
