Take-off of life insurance in 2012

Non life insurance has particularly grown in the Philippino archipelago in 2012, generating an overall gross premium of 2.9 billion USD, an increase of 37% in one year. These figures exceed the expectations of the sector which targeted premiums of 2.46 billion USD. The tax reduction from 5% to 2% has partly contributed to this increase.
