Thea Utoft Høj Jensen has been appointed Director General of the European insurance and reinsurance federation Insurance Europe. She succeeds Michaela Koller, who is stepping down after 18 years at the head of the federation. The appointment becomes effective on 4 November 2024.
A graduate of the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), T. Jensen has almost 20 years of experience in the financial services sector and European affairs. Throughout her professional career, she held senior positions in both the private and public sectors, including within the Danish Government.
Prior to her recent appointment, T. Jensen was, since 2019, Senior Managing Director, Head of Financial Services at FTI Consulting in Brussels, Belgium.
