Two new appointments within Leadway Assurance Company

Gboyega Lesi, former Executive Director of Commercial Business at Leadway Assurance Company, has been appointed Managing Director of the company. He is taking over from Tunde Hassan-Odukale. The appointment became effective on 1 January 2024.

Oluwafunmilayo Amanwa, for her part, is replacing Adetola Adegbayi as Executive Director (Technical and Operations).

Both promotions came following the implementation of the ten-year term limit for Managing Directors and Executive Officers of insurance companies, imposed by the NAICOM supervisory authority.

G. Lesi and O. Amanwa are successors to previous directors who have exceeded the 10-year limit in their respective positions.
