Two new authorized insurers

The Mutuelle d’Assurance Algérienne des Travailleurs de l’Education et de la Culture (MAATEC) and Le Mutualiste are the two new insurers authorized by public authorities. MAATEC is allowed to carry out motor insurance, fire , personal accident, miscellaneous accident risks and third party liability for the benefit of the members in the national education department or individuals working in the field of culture. Its management and administration have been entrusted to an interim administrator named by the supervisory commission. Le Mutualiste becomes the seventh insurer to market life insurance policies.
