Wafa Assurance turns its back on SAFA

The Moroccan insurer Wafa Assurance is no longer interested in the acquisition of the insurance company Solidarité Africaine d’Assurance (SAFA) even though both sides had reached an agreement.

The fire that destroyed the premises of the Ivorian company completely compromised the deal. Important damages along with the partial loss of the claim files has been reported. Despite this setback, Wafa Assurance has maintained its interest in the Ivorian market.
