Zurich Insurance completes acquisition of AIG's travel business

Zurich Insurance Group has finalized the acquisition of the individual insurance and travel assistance business of American International Group (AIG).

The acquired activities are now combined with those of CoverMore Groupe, a member of Zurich Insurance.

Together, these activities form “Zurich CoverMore”, a US-based entity.

This operation makes the Swiss group one of the world's leading travel insurers, with over 20 million customers and 200 distribution partners.
