According to the MPs' register of interests, former Prime Minister Boris Johnson received 276 130 GBP (326 400 USD) for a 30-minute speech and a 45-minute discussion session before the Council of Insurance Agents and Brokers in Colorado Springs, USA. In October 2022, the former minister had announced a remuneration of 150 000 USD which had already created a controversy.
