Network specialized in insurance fraud in Algeria dismantled

On 2 September 2022, the Algerian police proceeded to dismantle a network of criminals specialized in insurance fraud. The group was made up of six members who were working under the cover of phantom companies.

It should be recalled that most Algerian insurers publish the list of their general agents on their websites. The list of brokers authorized to operate in the Algerian insurance market is available on the website of the Algerian Union of Insurance and Reinsurance Companies (UAR).
