Tesla recalls more than 400 000 vehicles in China

Tesla is planning to recall 435 132 Chinese-made vehicles because of a software error that could prevent the rear lights from illuminating. This anomaly could increase the risk of accidents in dark conditions.

142 277 Model 3 vehicles , produced between 27 December 2020 and 7 November 2022, would be recalled. 292 855 Model Y cars produced between 1 January 2021 and 11 November 2022 have also been recalled.

A week earlier, the US. vehicle manufacturer also recalled more than 80 000 cars due to failures in battery management systems and seat belt issues.
