The evolution of women's place in the working world

Women's representation in the workforce of large companiesA study by Deloitte has revealed that women's representation in the workforce of large companies went up from 30.8% in 2019 to 32.9% in 2022. This participation rate, however, remains low in management and leadership positions.

The same goes for the insurance sector, which has yet to achieve full equality and sufficient diversity. Women are still underrepresented in leadership, despite a significant increase in entry-level and junior positions.

To offset this imbalance, female professionals in the sector are calling on insurance employers to introduce work arrangements that are appropriate for a variety of life situations, with particular attention to women.
