Volkswagen leads the European electric vehicle market

VolkswagenAccording to Jato, a firm specializing in automotive statistics, the number of 100% battery-electric vehicles (BEVs) registered in Europe has climbed by 29% to reach 1.56 million units by 2022.

Germany's Volkswagen is at the top of the list with 349 200 vehicles registered in 2022, representing a 22.4% market share. Tesla and Stellantis come second and third with 232 018 and 230 383 units respectively.
