World's Top Brands: 2022 Ranking
Interbrand has published the list of the top 100 global brands. For the third consecutive year, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon make up the top three.
The emergence of new technologies over the past decade has given IT and digital companies an extremely high visibility.
Nearly 45% of these companies featured on the 2022 list were not in the top 100 in 2021. This is notably the case of:
- Instagram, LinkedIn and Airbnb (social networks)
- YouTube, Netflix and Spotify (streaming services)
- HP, Huawei, Xiaomi and PayPal (computing, mobile technology and online payments)
Web specialists such as Amazon and Facebook that were included in the 2012 rankings saw their value increase by 1376% and 537% respectively.
