El Djazair Takaful inaugurates its first commercial agency

The State-owned company "Algerian General Takaful", also known as "El Djazair Takaful" has established its first commercial agency in Algiers.

The new office will be marketing non-life insurance policies (General Takaful) including motor and homeowner's insurance, as well as other property, transport and agricultural products.

For the record, El Djazair Takaful was granted a license in May 2022 to carry out Takaful General activities in Algeria. The company's shareholders include four State-owned insurers: SAA, CASH Assurances, CAAT and CAAR.
