Walaa Cooperative Insurance: 2022 half-yearly results

As at 30 June 2022, Walaa Cooperative Insurance has recorded an 18.16% increase of its turnover to reach 1.401 billion SAR (373.08 million USD).

For the first half of 2022, the Saudi insurer has posted a net loss before zakat of 27.629 million SAR (7.35 million USD) against a net deficit before zakat of 13.32 million SAR (3.5 million USD) during the same period of 2021.

The incurred losses went up by 25.78% from 435.728 million SAR (116.032 million USD) as at 30 June 2021 to 548.064 million SAR (145.947 million USD) a year later.
