Orient Insurance: H1 2022 results

Orient Insurance has recorded an 11.4% increase in its half-yearly turnover. The premium volume went from 2.917 billion AED (794.05 million USD) as at 30 June 2021 to 3.246 billion AED (883.6 million USD) at the end of the first half of 2022.

The net profit has progressed by 5.6% to reach 313.282 million AED (85.3 million USD). The incurred losses stood at 336.7 million AED (91.7 million USD), decreasing by 1.2% over one year.

During the period under review, the investment income amounted to 145.971 million AED (39.7 million USD), representing a 12.4% growth compared to the same period in 2021.
