Sukoon: excellent 2022 results

Sukoon, formerly known as Oman Insurance Company, has ended the financial year 2022 with an 8.5% increase in its net result to 223.6 million AED (60.9 million USD). This is one of the highest profits in the company's history.

As at 31 December 2022, the turnover crossed the 4 billion AED (1.1 billion USD) mark for the first time. The premium volume went up from 3.54 million AED (963.65 million USD) in 2021 to 4.39 million AED (1.2 billion USD) a year later.

The company's performance is driven by a sustainable growth of underwriting results in all classes of business, a solid investment income and a good expense management.

Sukoon is rated "A" by Standard & Poor's, "A" by AM Best and "A2" by Moody's.
