Generali to sell a 21 billion USD life portfolio

GeneraliGenerali is considering to sale 20 billion EUR (21 billion USD) of its Italian life insurance portfolio. The sale process may be initiated as soon as January 2023.

The cession should include insurance policies provided by Cattolica and Genertel, Italian insurance companies owned by Generali.

The Italian insurer has refused to comment.
