Lebanon, the most dangerous country for drivers

world ranking of dangerous roadThe British company Global Positioning Specialists (GPS) has published its world ranking of the most dangerous countries for drivers.

The report is based on a score assigned to each country according to three criteria:

  • the quality of the road network,
  • the number of fatal accidents
  • the number of vehicle thefts.

The higher the score, the higher the level of danger.

The findings revealed that Lebanon is the most dangerous country for motorists, followed by Uruguay, Colombia, Costa Rica and Greece.

It should be noted that the study was carried out amongst the 60 countries most dependent on motor vehicles, which explains the absence of India, Bangladesh, Egypt and Syria from this ranking.
