Stewart Smith, new Business Development Officer of QIC Global

Stewart Smith has been appointed as Business Development Officer of QIC Global, the international insurance and reinsurance subsidiary of Qatar Insurance Group, effective immediately.

The newly promoted executive is based in London and reports directly to Michael van der Straaten, CEO of QIC Global and Qatar Re.

The role of Business Development Officer has just been created by the company.

S. Smith has more than 40 years of experience in the London market where he has held a variety of senior positions with several brokerage groups including Aon and Willis Re.
