BH Assurance: 16.5% half-year turnover increase in 2022

BH Assurance has recorded a 16.5% increase in its half-yearly turnover. Written premiums have gone from 74.4 million TND (26.6 million USD) as at 30 June 2021 to 86.7 million TND (28.2 million USD) one year later.

Non-life premiums have progressed by 3% to reach 51.2 million TND (16.6 million USD). For its part, the life activity has shown a 44% turnover growth amounting to 35.5 million TND (11.5 million USD).

During the period under review, the incurred losses increased by 5.3% to stand at 45.7 million TND (14.8 million USD) compared to 43.4 million TND (15.5 million USD) at the end of June 2021. The investment income grew by 19.5% to 9.2 million TND (3 million USD).
