STAR: 2022 results and dividend distribution

On 10 March 2023, the STAR (Société Tunisienne d'Assurances et de Réassurances) Board of Directors has approved the financial statements for the year 2022.

As at 31 December of the past year, the company's turnover amounted to 386.271 million TND (123 million USD), which represents a 5% increase compared to the same period in 2021.

The incurred losses went up by 3% to 283.824 million TND (90.4 million USD). The net investment income of 101.477 million TND (32.3 million USD) has improved by 31% over twelve months.

The net result progressed by 52% to reach 31.905 million TND (10.2 million USD) by the end of 2022.

STAR will hold its Ordinary General Meeting on 18 May 2023. On that occasion, the Board of Directors is expected to propose the distribution of a dividend of 6.22 TND (2 USD) per share for the year 2022.
