Marrakech, a successful conference

While fear was growing that the numerous congresses and conferences throughout the region would result in weary and apathetic professionals, the last edition of the FAIR conference in Marrakech turned out to be a nice surprise.

All success ingredients were there: an excellent organisation, an attractive setting, big turnout, good level of meetings and debates.

Being a well-established institution, FAIR is still perpetuating “the Bandoeng spirit”, one of its latest survivals. Indeed, it remains one of the rare forums where representatives from the Maghreb, sub-Sahara African, Middle East and Asian countries meet and discuss. Some countries like India, China, Morocco, Bahrain and Dubai find in it sizable support for their development strategy.

As far as the Société Centrale de Réassurance (SCR) is concerned, the event has proved to be a successful move at all levels: communication, image and know-how enhancement, media-prompted impact, better visibility.
