Jan 2012 Babatunde Fatayi Williams, chairman of Linkage Assurance PLC, has confirmed ongoing talks for a possible merger of his group with a competitor whose identity has not been disclosed. This move is designed to increase the future company’s share value and at the same time improve Linkage stock value. In 2010, the company reported 2.31 billion NGN (15 million USD) of gross written premiums.
