It is health insurance that witnessed the most substantial progression with a jump of 27% over one year (27.02 million BHD, that is, 71.89 million USD). Life insurance tops the list of the underwritten classes of business with a market share of 29%. It generates 152 million USD of premiums and progresses by 11% over one year. It is followed by motor with 28% of market shares and 151 million USD of premiums, fire, third party liability and marine insurance.
