Footballers have their insurance

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has launched a tender for the insurance coverage of professional football players of first and second divisions and technical staff. The consortium made up of Axa, Cnia-Saada, RMA Watanya, Sanad and Wafa Assurance will be able to issue policies as of August 2011. The FRMF will be financing this insurance program for the next three years. Coverage cost will later on be supported by clubs and beneficiaries.
