May 2011 TA Holdings has managed to limit its losses in the industrial sector thanks to its satisfactory results in insurance. Among the group’s companies, Botswana Insurance has reported a pre-tax profit of 4.2 million USD. Zimnat Life has also managed to come out with a positive result of 432 000 USD. In contrast, Zimnat Lion has posted 851 000 USD of pre-tax losses, while Grande Re and Life Company Lion of Uganda are slightly in the red.
