Feb 2011 A bill raising retirement age from 60 to 65 years for public and private sectors will be submitted to parliament. This project also provides for lower pension rates, down from 17% to 5%. This decision should stand as a governmental attempt to address the deficit in the General Organization for Social Insurance and to comply with the current trend regarding the age of retirement.
