Feb 2011 Jubilee Holdings Company has announced its plans to expand into 15 new African markets within 5 years. North Africa, including Egypt, Libya and Tunisia are in the insurer's plans. Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Burkina Faso, Malawi, Zambia and Zimbabwe are also on the agenda.
This revelation comes as Jubilee has signed a partnership with Paynet Kenya which will allow life insurance to settle their premiums through any PesaPoint ATMs in the country. The company has spent 400 000 USD on an information technology system designed to facilitate these payments via internet technology.
