Apr 2005 The entry exam for the profession of broker, due on June 22, 2005, is the first to be held for many years. Even general agents, who are bothered by the restrictions of the insurance new code, are tempted by the career of broker which they consider to be more advantageous.
The transition from one career to another is, however, no simple task as the new regulations require from the general agents their company's approval and a university graduate degree.
