May 2005 An inquiry commission has been set up to investigate the causes behind the fire of March 25, 2005 in the Tema port which destroyed a Greek ship and seriously damaged the pipeline of the oil refinery. The disaster caused considerable material damage to the oil installations and claimed the lives of 17 people.
