Jul 2005 Islamic Arab Insurance Co. (IAIC) increase its capital from 50 million AED to 1 billion AED.
This increase will enable it to set up a group of international-sized Takaful and Retakaful companies.
This group set up by the holding Takaful and Retakaful Investment Company namely comprises Best Re and six insurance companies.
Following this move, Best Re capital will rise from 55 million USD to 100 million USD.
