Dec 2009 There is a new actor on the Ivorian insurance market. Named Serenity, the new company is willing to build up its way through the market which now includes 33 insurers.
Serenity is endowed with a capital of 1 billion FCFA (2 020 000 USD), paid up to 755 750 000 FCFA (1 526 615 USD).
Present in Abidjan, Daloa and Issia, the company is run by its founder Kipré Digbeu, a well-known figure in African insurance, who is credited with a 30-year experience, 15 years of which as general manager of CICA Re.
