In 2003, “Doha Insurance Company”, (DIC), reported a 14.4-million QR (4 million USD) in net profit, compared to 7 million QR, (2 million USD) in 2002. During the last meeting of the General Assembly, the company chairman, Sheikh Nawaf Ben Khaled Al Thani, raised the option of establishing an entity exclusively specialized in medical insurance. & Poor's.
